Let the Finals countdown begin

With only 3 games left in the 90s season (plus a possible 15 playoff bonus points), the number of players with a mathematical chance of making the top 12 is only 23. 3 players have already clinched top 12 status so in reality that leaves 20 players competing for 9 spots. These observations are from the player in 124th place. So sad!

The 90s regular season is over. Unofficially, there are now 9 that have clinched a spot in the final 12:
1. franky35 422
2. jomboy78 417
3. Rigged Splits 409
4. hallerose 399
5. stratorat 397
6. Jimmy_C 395
7. pushpin76 394
8. Jablowmi 393 (wins tiebreak v Radagast Brown)
9. Radagast Brown 393
Then there are 3 that may be in:
10. Rjnewman 391
10. Icterus Galbuli 391
12. daveaq31 390
All of these three are in unless sphilipp (383) and/or Moodywoody (381) win their 90s world series. Baltimore Orioles (Icterus galbuli), and daveaq31 would clinch a spot in the finals by winning in the semi-finals.

Amazingly tough year. I went and looked at past tourneys and figured if I could get to 385 by winning 104 games and then getting the championship in the 90s (a tough enough feat in itself), I had a good shot to be in. I got my 104, but cant even come close to breaking the top 12.
Congrats to everybody already in the finals, and good luck to those fighting for the last few spots. I guess I can just go after my last couple free credits and try again next year.

104 wins is very impressive. 385 points gets you in the top 12 every other year.
I appreciated being told I clinched a spot in the top 12. However, ( and I hope I am wrong) I do not believe I have clinched a spot, despite having three teams go to the championship, and my last team winning 84, and missing the playoffs.
I think there may be up to five managers who could possibly pass me depending on the playoff results.... It would be a dream come true to make the finals again.

Thanks again to Juiced JC. He may come up short, but I will not be surprised if he makes the finals league in the PLAYER'S CHAMPIONSHIP ,with the 2019 set.

Congratulations to franky35, jomboy78, Rigged Splits, hallerose, stratorat, Jimmy_C, pushpin76, Jablowmi, Radagast Brown for already clinching your spot in the finals. The amazing thing is not one of your names surprises me as you all are very good players and many of you make it this far every year. It's an incredible accomplishment and I wish I was good enough to make it into the top 12, but I actually had my worst showing ever in my 4 years playing in the tournament.
As was mentioned, there are 3 more spots up for grabs. Icterus Galbuli and daveaq31 are in the best shape as they control their own destiny and just need to win their semi-final series in the 90s to advance - they don't need to win their 90s championship to clinch. Icterus Galbuli's team had 100 wins, but is facing the always tough pushpin76 in League 5, daveaq31 had 90 wins and enters the League 3 semis as an underdog versus irish iii. Rjnewman is sitting in the other top 12 spot right now but did not make the playoffs in his 90s league. So he has to hope that sphillipp8 and Moodywoody - two great players - do NOT win their 90s championship. Those two are the only teams on the outside looking in with any chance, and they both need a 90s championship for a chance. Moodywoody won 101 games in League 11 and sphillipp8 won 92 in League 9. All eyes are on Moodywoody, who always seems to be facing elimination at some point in the tournament every year and finds a way to stay alive.
Good luck everyone and congrats on making it this far!

Grats to all of you - I believe each one of you were in a league with me and taught me a ton in my first tournament. I applaud, in fact, all the experienced guys, like waynick, who were encouraging and sent messages along the way. Awesome time - and thanks, most of all, to Juiced, who made this so easy to participate in due to his great organization. See you guys down the road in other leagues and good luck in the Finals!

Thank you. Great job everyone. So much great competition, and a perfectly run tournament by Juiced JC.
I thought I could potentially be ousted from the top 12. But I guess I was wrong about that. It is something nice to be wrong about,if true.
I feel like Frany35 and a few others are in a league of their own and then after that the rest of the top two to three dozen managers could have all easily finished in the top ten. ... Without a little luck, I would be on the outside looking in.
All the other tournaments have three times or more finalists. 12 is such a small amount for all the quality managers in this tournament.

I knew Icterus Galbuli's 100 win team would have his hands full with pushpin76, and sure enough pushpin76 has taken a 2-0 lead in their semi-final series. daveaq31 came away with a split in the first two games versus irish iii. sphillipp8 also split with jddoug last night, so his series is 1-1. Moodywoody has taken a 2-0 lead over BRYANLEWIS is in his semi-final series.

What an impressive group. It has never taken 390+ to get into the finals. The top 6 from JC's pre-tournament top 10 are all on this list, plus 3 more from the honorable mention list. The finals will be incredibly tough.
