Here's the dilemna:

You gotta whip him with your pitching. Dump Perez and his 1.1 HR/9 rating and pick up the best inverted RH SP you can find, preferably one with a relief rating also.

I won a slugger's division and reached the finals with a Kauffman team which won with pitching and defense, and a couple of key hitters who didn't really fit the park (Abreu and Burrell) because I couldn't find any better. Record wasn't great, but that was due to a slow start. After making a couple of mid-season moves, especially picking up Mike Sweeney (great DH for pitcher's park), things got better.

what a funky division. those roster are [i:d06f9f0cde]nothing[/i:d06f9f0cde] like what I thought they would be.

My honest advise...just do your thing match to your stadium, perhaps keep an eye on that Ortiz/Delgado combo by having a good matchup pitcher there but still...

Pretty interesting conundrum ain't it?

Thanks for the ideas guys... appreciate your thoughts on how to approach the situation.

I think that I'll go with the approach of building my line-up to my stadium, and look for pitching match-ups that might give me a few wins in those extreme parks.

[b:efc3c46218]Mo[/b:efc3c46218], how come you don't like Perez... he looks like a nice value in Petco and gives me a LH option?

Thanks C2! 8)

Another league I can't figure out???? :?

This is one of those schedules where I just played 15 in a row on the road. I went 7-8, not bad, but have fallen 9 games behind a Minute Maid team with $44 mil in pitching and minimal right handed power?
