Does anyone know what happened to Semper Gumby?

He was a marine reservist who played alot a year or two ago....anybody?

He might be back in Iraq? I remember a post saying that it's his time to serve again. I may be wrong, though.

He did go back into service. He was a part of our NLD SOM league and had left a couple of messages throughout his time there but we haven't heard from him in awhile. I hope everything is ok with him.....

The military just sent a bunch of marine reserves home from Iraq out of the Cleveland area, and maybe he was fortunate enough to be just returned.

Unfortunately, it was a group (sorry, I don't know at what level of organization it was) that experienced a huge amount of losses during the first week of August...approximately 14 men on one day. So the return was certainly bittersweet as displayed well in the news...men suffering from the loss and non-return of their colleagues, yet delighted to be home.

One of his posts on the old threads indicated he would not be back until November 2005.
