I need advice on reliever usage

I have a killer starting pitcher rotation, Clemens, Pedro, Santana, and Brett Myers. My relievers are Aaron Fultz, Julio Santana, Mike Macdougal, Craig Dingman, Fernando Rodney. My problem is that after 2 series Fultz hasn't thrown a pitch, whereas Julio Santana has 4.1 IP, none of which were in save situations. This has possibly cost me a game already. I would like to make it so that it brings in Fultz whenever at all possible. I don't quite want to designate Santana as my closer, though, as he is R2 and only C0. The other three guys could handle the closing, I think. I was thinking of checking on all my relievers except Fultz "Avoid using before 8th inning". This wouldn't necessarily completely solve the problem, b/c the game Santana blew he came in in the 10th inning, but it might help. I also could put Fultz as my setup man. I'm not sure what would be best. Any advice from more experienced players than myself would be greatly appreciated. I should add that there wasn't any matchup reasons to bring in Santana over Fultz, as most of the batters Santana faced were better vs. righties than lefties, and most were righties or switch hitters, which Fultz just murders.

With only six games played, it could very easily just be a total fluke that it hasn't used Fultz yet. But what you could try is something like Rodney closer vs. R, Dingman closer vs. L, MacDougal & Santana don't use before 8th, Fultz setup both ways. (The game won't let you mark more than two relievers as "do not use before 8th.")

Ditto that. I read that somewhere else in a help file. Only 1 pitcher can be selected for each ... that is before the 8th, 7th, 6th.

seriously the only restriction is no more than 2 checked not before 8th, you can have all of the rest checked not before 7th of you wanted..... It was because they took away our not before 9th and we talked bernie into alowing 2 not before 8th instead then.
