I would H&R more if the batter only if the batter was rated at least a C in a pitcher friendly park - a B in a hitter friendly park.
I would try not to place a double-play prone guy right behind a guy with a high on-base pct (especially a singles type hitter).
Bat one of your double-play prone guys lead-off. I have a 1-13 runner batting first (and it's worked out well) and of course, that eliminates one at bat per game without any chance of him grounding into a DP (this is even better when you have pitchers batting 9th since they'll rarely be on base when the lead off guy gets up. This would probable be the better of the 3 on base guys, unless that was also one of your best 2 power hitters.
