Little MM help needed

Excuse the O.T., but I wonder if this will result in the 2006 game holding its popularity throughout the new year more than previous years games have. Maybe there will even be a 2005/Shea renaissance.

Actually,

I won't be seeing alot of Hard Righty starting pitchers,

There are only 3 in my division that even favor Right handed batters more than (1R)

C. Young (3R)
M. Hampton (6R)
Buehrle (2R)

Two others are only 1R (Pedro, Moyer both 1R), rest favor left handed batters.

I know I am extreme, but that is what will work for me the best IMHO

Guys,

There is an Ameriquest team in my league with a Newbie manager,

He mentioned that he was reading this post and is afraid that his inexperience will lead to a poor season.

I have never played at Ameriquest so I am not the one to ask for help so I was wondering if you could put some feed back here that may help him out.

He is playing at Ameriquest and has a MM, Rogers, and another Ameriquest in his division.

I see some serious areas of concern.
Catching.....much help needed there
Defense is weak
Pitching and Hitting don't really favor his park
And the pickings are pretty slim now.

If you get the chance, throw some advice out there and maybe he can make some adjustments that will help him out.

I know he has been reading this post, so I will put his link below knowing the good sports here will try to help him out a bit.

Since he isn't in my division, I am not too concerned about the advice.

Just thought it would be fun to re-visit this thread after the first 69 games.

I am 39-30 not bad and only 1 game out of 1st.

Interesting Home/Road split though. Not totally unexpected, but still a little worrisome.

I have a record of 14-25 on the road. At one point I had 27 out of 30 games on the road. I am now in the part of the schedule that makes up for that.

I am 25-5 at home though, with another 15 in a row at home.

I haven't seen a team so dominant at home and so worthless on the road.
Don't get me wrong, I understand that is how I built it, but wasn't expecting the extreme.

I am sure things will even out over the long haul, but thought it was interesting.

Team is 7th in hitting and 1st in Pitching and 3rd in Homers.

Can't complain too much with the homestand coming... :D

You could probably use a RHSP that is cheap and gets out lefties better than righties AND a good lefty batter that hits righties well.

Lookin' good though...
