Barry Bonds = Y.A?

Got Bonds as a booby prize after my first 2007 draft. As much as I hate the guy, kept him and his .454 OBP on the squad.

Just played my first three games and checked the boxscores, instead of saying "Bonds" his slot says "Y.A" and he went 1 for 11 with a walk and 3 ks.

Anyone know what gives? I just want to make sure I know who I'm playing.

I believe the reason is Bonds is only MLB player that does not grant rights to allow use of his name! Quality guy who is just misunderstood.

When Bonds* was doing his contract a few years ago, he got out of the MLB agreement, I beleive so he could market himself as he approached Babe Ruth ... and now Hank Aaron.

But that was before Bonds* and BALCO, so I'm not sure how much Bonds* can take advantage since Bonds* is booed quite a bit when Bonds* is not playing in SF.

There is not much love for Bonds* outside of SF.

Well, I always refer to him as Bonds*. You just ahve to put an asterisk after his name. I think you guys said everything that needs to be said.
