Unevenly balanced pitchers

Am I right in thinking that at Wrigley, Camden, Minute Maid etc, I should not put in pitchers with BPHR's to the RH side such as Willis and Burnett? They should be kept for parks that favour LH hitters where people such as Hernandez should miss out or pitchers parks where BPHR's should not matter?

Correct?? My brain hurts on this matter and I don't pay it enough attention.

Yes you should stay away from pitchers that have very many BPHRs vs RH batters in parks such as Wrigley, Minute Maid, Fenway, etc. Generally you want almost all RHP on your staff in those parks with maybe a few reverse LHP thrown in. Those are LH pitchers that are stronger against RH batters.

I am playing my next season in Turner Field which favours LH hitters so don't want too many BPHR's against LHB. Presumably I need mostly pitchers good against LH.

Turner Field is not very unbalanced. I would go with good overall pitchers with a good mix of LHP and RHP. Pretend that that the BP ratings are even and don't get carried away with only 3 numbers different on the BPHR ratings from L to R. It is only the very unbalanced stadiums that you need to worry about such things. Shea, Wrigley, Minute Maid, Fenway, the Trop and Seattle's stadium are the only ones to worry about.

Now if you pick a bombers park like Coors you don't wan't to see BPHRs on either side of the pitcher's cards. Pick a pitcher's park like PETCO then you can draft pitchers with BPHR's but that are otherwise good (like Vazquez & Percival).

I understand Turner is not really unbalanced but it is still easier for LH hitters to score HR's and pitchers BPHR's against the left side will be penalised more, albeit not as bad as in more unbalanced parks. My pitchers are C.Zamb, L.Hernandez, Burnett, Mulder and Willis. My division has a lot of pitcher's parks (SBC, Petco,PNC, Kaufman) lots of RH parks; (Wrigley*2, Fenway, MinuteMaid, Camden Yds) 1 even park, (Skydome) and the ubiquitous Coors. So I will obviously not want Willis pitching in the RH parks but he should be OK in Turner.
