Second time this season this has happened. My 1 e7 CF Mike Cameron makes a crucial error while giving up a double. We lose by two runs.

Classic.

he's not an e0, why so upset over every error he makes. He is going to make an average of 7 errors...

Yeah I don't get this either? He's an e7 which means he can and will make errors. Errors are a part of the game and it happens to all of us.

The issue he may have is the double. A 1 in Cf will not have a double on his X chart; however, the errors are either part of a throwing error allowing the extra run to score, or a "rare play" from the fielding chart.

It's not broken, that's for sure.

but the double could be off the hitters/pitchers card, there is no way ot see if it was of fthe X chart, I'd assume the entire engine isn't broken (though who knows :P)

Yeah but if the double came off the hitters card or the pitcher's card, how could there also be an error? I thought an error can only occur on fielder's X chance?

A run option can produce a throwing error. For example, Si(cf) is rolled, the runner decides to advance on the CF's arm and the ball is thrown away -- for 1, 2 or 3 bases. Fielding rating, which is merely range, doesn't effect that -- but any kind of "e" rating can, a 7 certainly being within the range of moderate risk.

What I'm grousing about is that this is the third throwing error that Cameron's made this half-season, and they've let in a cumulative eight runs. It seems skewed that he would make so many errors, but whatever.
