Calling shea experts

Yes, coffeeholic, I am quite pleased with my team, to say the least. I thought it would be good - but had no idea it would be [i:043f463026]this[/i:043f463026] good.

well to shea teams making a trade, but i got kotsay, had to give up ( mis girlie as in damon, and burtinez, but with other hitters that i have like dunn, drew and huff, i think i am ok, plus i pickup nick johnson, who i heard be an asset in shea. with a platoom, of estrad. i think i improve my D, what i really wanted to do, and got that extra obp in kotsay vs lefties.

Just don't be too confident too soon. I was second overall in my leauge and my team took a nosedive...from which they (and I) have yet to recover.

Hello Devilrage! Going for shea again IC...

I don't like Zambrano here. He is VERY $$, and not a good fit as your ACE in shea. Santana(of course) if you can get him, but even going cheaper with say Lilly, Davis, even Escobar would be a better fit here than Zambrano. If you are facing alot of righties, you can keep weaver. You REALLY need a left handed stud in your bullpen too. Ryan, Walker, etc are essential to success in shea IMHO. Don't like looper at all here....will get crushed I am afraid. Rincon is ok, but would rather have one of the above mentioned instead.

Hitters...the way you are now, when facing lefties, you will only have 4 lefties in the lineup! Need a much larger ratio of lefties to righties in Shea imo....a righty hard lefty would really shut you down in shea with this lineup i am afraid...

You don't really have a leadoff hitter. You could lead off Kotsay vs lefties, but who vs righties??

Miller, I do not like here (btw, would not carry 3 catchers). Need a left handed power platoon here. Mauer of course, or someone like him with Molina would be devastating!

Merloni alone at 1b? really need to do something here. Gload has been mentioned, and is very good in Shea...protects you vs all of the lefties you are going to face.

Don't really like Belliard here either, I like Kennedy better, and for less money.

Out field is fine. Like all of them.

Good luck!

Please excuse Tarbell. He's old and his eyes are starting to go on him...

Looks like Dunn is going to play 1st. base Mike.

While Miller (C) isn't bad, I'd go with a AJ Pierz / J. Molina platoon.

I kinda like Belliard here. He's a doubles machine...:)

Newhan is usually available. See if you can grab him... :D

While I like Looper is a big park, I'd rather see a hard lefty closer @ Shea. Just like a hard righty closer @ Wrigley. (Guardado ?) You've got 81 games here. Try to win as many home games as you can.

thanks guys, you too Mtbell, however i have serious problem i was offered a trade for weaver, and that would bring me a true leadoff hitter in freel, . then i dont need figgins to lead off., also, i am facing about 80% right hand hitters in my division, that is why i am trying to hold on to zombo, however inotice today that lieter is now available, thinking of droping looper for him.

mtarbell , bro, i am covered at 1b, i have dunn, and huff if i need him there, prefer huff as dh, perz is gone, and the other players you guys mention are gone a long time ago, there are 4 other shea teams here.its very tempting to release zombo, and pickup hudson, since i have coors team in my division, and facing alot more righthand batters, and he is cheaper, and then using the extra and getting steve kline, with looper, to setup, and rincoin, to close, what do you guys think of that idea?
