Home Field Advantage

On another note, I was wondering how feasible it would be to give a "momentum advantage factor" to the team who has won the latest playoff game in a series. Let's say you win Game 4 of the Semi-Finals as the home team. In Game 5 you need to travel to your opponents home ballpark but there would be a slight "momentum factor" in favor of your team. I know this would never be implemented in SOM Online and hope it never does but I wonder how one would implement such a feature.

I thought momentum was only as important as the next days starting pitcher.

I'd actually never heard that strat online used a home field advantage feature. I'd always assumed that teams did better at home because managers built their teams for their BP.
Can someone explain how the rule works?
