100 win teams. Do any of them win titles?

My only title in 2006 with 100-62 record. Scored most runs and best pitching and had to come from behind in both series. Was down 3-0 in final and won the next four so it happens just wish it wasn't so tough. :?

As a matter of fact, this is my first 100-win team ever, out of 113 finished seasons.

I've pretty much gone excusively to theme leagues, but still sprinkle in public leagues now and then to test some strategies. This was a 5-man rotation with offense spread (somewhat) equally. Guess it worked, no single dominant player, but well-balanced.

The 100-win curse has found another victim...

the team I posted above was knocked out of the 1st round 3-1. They led wire-to-wire and were never challenged, best record in the league, and then this... :x :( :shock:

As i expected...wasnt a 100-win team but won 97....my most wins by any team i have owned....

to win the division you're competing against three other teams...maybe you match up well and with a lot of luck you win 100 games...and then you go to the playoffs and enter another divison -- against the other three playoff teams...do you match up as well against them?...your 100 wins suddenly mean nothing...from this point forward it's about matchups, injuries and luck...

when I wasn't so lazy, if I had a good lead at 140 games I would try to figure out my potential playoff opponents (and ballparks) and make a couple key drops and adds to improve my matchups...
