Defensive replacement question

How do you switch one player to another position and then replace his first position for example Figgens 3e23 at 2nd moves to LF replacing Manny Ramirez and Alex Cora 2e8 goes into play 2nd

Cora as defensive replacement #1, 2B; Figgins as defensive replacement #2, LF. (This can also be done in defensive replacement slots #3 and 4; it will not work in other slots.)

Do I also check the replace with defensive substitute box on Figgins?

Definitely not. But you should check it on Manny; forgot to mention that.

Don't count on any of that to work everytime.

I'm in an all injury league(nobody with 600 PA's) and Baldelli(injury is HBP=pinch runner) is always replaced by Lane despite the fact that I have Taveras(better D and speed) slated as my D replacement.

No one said this had anything to do with injury replacements.
