Help re: Hal

Help re: Hal

I had Beimel set for 1-2 inn max but he pitched 3. There were other nonfatigued pitchers available so I'm left scratching my head as to why. Luckily I won but I'm concerned about preventing a repeat. Does Bernie read this; if so it was game 144 of my current season. Will HAL sometimes ignore our settings at random?

Thats a good one teamnasty! :D

HAL has a mind of his own. Our settings are guidelines and not restrictions. How was Beimel doing in the game? Was he pitching just fine for the first two innings? If so maybe HAL determined it would be in your best interest to leave him in the game to start his 3rd inning and not burn another of your RP.

Ok thanks, if they are guidelines and not hard rules that makes sense. Beimel was doing very well, but with the number of rested relievers available I still think HAL should have pulled him.
