Don't complain you won. If that happened to me a 10 run inning by my opponent would occur. And this is with a 9 run lead. :shock: Actually if this is a glitch in the program then we have a problem. Bernie, can you explain.

If you a) have Kendrick set to "remove with a lead," and b) either don't have a 2B defensive replacement set, or said replacement has already been removed from the game or is injured... it will nonetheless remove Kendrick anyway, even if there is no "real" 2B to replace him with. Dippy, I know.

Ditto. PR Michael (A/1-17) Bourne tripled in a run after entering the game earlier as PR for 3B Miguel Cabrera. Twice in opening series MB PR for "Fatso". So far it hasn't cost me but I hate taking AB's away from my big bats late--either 9th or extra inngs. Even when I didnt list a PR in mgr settings Hal still used Bourne--he even PR for Abreu, an A stealer!

Why can't he just PR for slow footed C's. It affects my defense too. Not Cabrera, of course, but once in series 2, Hal inserted Bourne for 1B Youkilis!

I can't afford to lose an awesome fielding 1B--Kevin is 1e0 !!! Actually, that was brief. Youkilis moved to 3b (4e39)! for Cabrera; then later capable Craig Counsel, 3e5, replaced Youkilis at 3b & Kevin returned to 1B. So the box score showed Youkilis: 1B,3B,1B !

One solution. Bourne will start in RF 2(-1)e4 vs RHs at home & other P's parks. Abreu will DH vs RHs @ home; Tony Clark (low OB%) DH's vs RHs on road in hitters parks. Such specialization!

Ok weigh in on the pros & cons of PR. Suggestion to TSN: Add a setting to individual player cards: "do NOT remove for PR" just like PH settings!

HAL does suck- one of my teams just finished imploding tonight- needed to win 1 game of last 7 to stay in first place- lost all 7 and tied for first to miss playoffs. in the last game when its knotted up in the 7th- instead of bringing in either of my 2 top relievers- it picks bruney - worth all of 50k and he proceeds to lose the game! I am swearing off SOM- at least till tomorrow...

It is apparantly the risk we now run for having defensive replacements for out players. Once the defensive replacement gets hurt, we are totally screwed. This is most clearly manifested at the catcher position, if you carry only two.

Bernie, isn't there a way to fix this so that defensive replacements can only be made if there is a player rated for that position on the bench?!?!?
