I have this team for Coors and it starts tonight and the waivers ran yesterday so not much time to tweak. Any thoughts? I am looking at this lineup:

1). Pujols- 1B (R)
2). Wright- 3B (R)
3). Abreu- RF (L)
4). Howard- DH (L)
5). Martin- C (R)
6). Cano- 2B (L)
7). Crawford- LF (L)
8). Reyes- SS (S)
9). Willits- CF (S)

You need a deeper pen in quantity and quality to win at Coors. Should be 7 deep, including a s/r at .50 cents and a 4 man rotation. Total of 11 pitchers. And your top 3 relievers need to have salaries around 3-4. A 2nd .50 cent garbage reliever is ok too as a money saving move. Your offense is excellent, but I'd dump R.Martin in a money saving gesture as you tweak your bullpen. That great defense is simply wasted a bit in Coors compared to a pitchers park. Do you really need Crawford's sb's in that park also? Your team is lefty-heavy which as a rule I like but make sure your opposing divisional starters are about 3/4 righty before standing pat. Coors can be a tough fun park, good luck.

Caveat: my current Coors tour team is getting obliterated, but I've had a lot of success historically with the above Coors formula.

my head hurts looking at that lineup.....

Really Pujols 1st and Abreu 3rd? really??

I'm not going to comment on the pitching staff because I've had no success this year using cheap pitching.

but the lineup.....

vs L

Willits
Martin
Wright
Pujols
Cano
Crawford
Reyes
Howard
Abreu

vs R

Willits
Wright
Pujols
Howard
Cano
Crawford
Abreu
Reyes
Martin

there's still to be said about a 3 in CF with a 4 in RF. Since you planned Willits to bat 9th originally, why not get a cheap defender? Abreu really isn't very good, I'd much rather move Willits to Rf and get a Def CF. Your team is much better vs LH pitching as well, would love to see that the other way if possible. Maybe since you're fine with a 3 in CF move Abreu for T Redman (or maybe the w is too much of a drawback here?)?

Well I'm sure there are options, but there is my .02

Reyes IMHO seems to be a logical choice to downgrade actually, IF there is a cheap def SS left (visquel, mcdonald... maybe furcal).

In my Division there are 24 RHP and 8 LHP. Overall in the league (Not including me) there are 83 RHP's and 33 LHP. SGT D

25% LHP is about the norm (since there are no more Hard core LH parks). Not enough to have your team BETTER vs L than R. It really needs to be the other way around (better vs RH).

Personal preferences for my Coors Teams:

(a) no more than two ballpark homers on a side for my pitchers
(b) prefer four-man starting rotation averaging about 2.5 million each
(c) prefer a stud closer with no ballpark singles
(d) two excellent setup men with salaries between 3 to 5 million
(e) select starters with lots of groundball A
(f) select relievers with lots of strikeouts

(e) maximum defense at SS, 2B, and CF just like any other park
(f) will never start an outfielder with a range of 4
(g) everyone, including the batboy, should have normal homerun power to make the opposing pitchers pay for their mistakes
