2007 Scabs league--2 mil or less-DH-Full--DRAFTING

Postby ClowntimeIsOver » Sun Jun 15, 2008 2:28 am

I had Gotay at #14 -- low because I was just looking at him for a DH platoon.

The real disappointment was not getting Pearce (#5), who fits at both 1B and corner OF vs. lefties, and isn't too bad a fielder.

Other misses: Andrew Brown (#7 -- too low for a decent reliever), Inge (#10), Izturis (#12), Tony Pena (#13), and, kind of surprisingly, Byrdak (#18). On the other hand, I got Justin Miller at #17 ... I guess nobody liked his 9R.

I was thinking of calling my team the Agnewozoic Brewers, in honor of the abysmal 1970-73 Brewers that marked my childhood initiation into baseball and low expectations ...
