Let's say I sweep Vis and trade him Scott Elarton for Jake Peavy. He can drop Elarton right away? I would say traded players must stay on a team for al least 24 hours to really leave a mark.

I defer to the previous conditions though of course. Just trying to think of ways to stir the pot a bit more.
