I'm considering using him as my closer in Petco. Has anyone used him to close in a pitcher's park? He seems extremely cheap for a closer with a c6 rating.

He can be very good closing games in a pitchers park. If there are 2 pitchers parks in your division, use him.

Urbina can be lights out as well in a pitchers park.

of course he did blow games 2 and 6 for me in the finals that I lost 4-3(even after Clemens only gave up2 combined runs in those games) :cry:

Not to hijack the thread, but something else remarkable about that team is how close Torres came to his actual real-life stats. Spooky.

just set him as closer vs both, maximize cloer settings. Then on his card, set not before 9th, quick hook, max 1-2 innings. Bascially a very very strict closer only. Should keep his innings down and healthy. And he is only a bargain in Petco, and maybe SBC. Anywhere else, he is very risky with all those BP Hr's.
That's also why I suggest Taverez for you pen, you can set him to your closer in hitters parks if you are worried Graves will blow up there.
