I believe the cards are release around the end of January. That's why we're trying to have this league filled up and drafted before then :)

How would you draft

How would you draft with not being able to look at the cards for 2008, can we change it to 100 salary cap, and when would we have to buy a team, when the cards come out in Feb. how would this be set up, any more detail. I've never drafted before the cards come out, but sounds fun.....

As soon as three more people sign up, we would move to an individual league chat board here and start drafting players. I want to get the league going as soon as possible because the draft will take a while, and I don't want to still be drafting after the cards come out. Obviously we couldn't actually load the league and team until the cards come out, but hopefully everyone joining is honorable and responsible and would be able to comply with these rules.
Not knowing exactly what the cards are like in 2008 is the whole point of the pre-card draft. Obviously you can look at the 2008 stats on mlb.com or espn.com or whatever to get an estimate of the players' performance.
