My team has Carlos Pena, who has been injured for 24 games so far out of 58 played. He had something like 597 AB's. HOW IS THIS REALISTIC ?? :( and what a waste of $.

I assume you are playing the most recent game. Pena had 593 PA's (AB's + BB's). Any player with less than 600 PA's is subject to the maximum 15 game injury. 24 games missed out of 58 is some tough luck though for a 1 injury guy. I wouldn't be surprised to see him go the rest of the year without missing a game.

How is your team doing overall?

It's not supposed to be realistic.

I may be nit picking but just to avoid confusion it is plate appearances, not at bats that matter. I believe Pena is below 600 PAs. And if so those are the rules. Players get hurt all the time, that is the real.

HAL doesn't follow my platoon, plays LHB vs LHP in 9th innining, even when avoid LHP is checked on their cards
HAL puts in my 2 worst mop up RP's in decisive game 5 of playoffs with the game tied in the middle innings, after taking out my ace who was on slow hook vs. my opponents #5 pitcher.
My 2 worst pitchers then give up the decidieng runs in game 5 with the score tied

All in all TOTALLY UNREALISTIC, F#### this game [/quote:154c414854]
The definition of insanity is repeating the same behavior over and over and expecting a different result. Or something like that.

Stratomatic is far from perfect, so one has to learn to live with its idiosyncracies. I would, however, like to see the TSN version at least offer the option of playing in a league where players do not exceed or fall below their actual number of games played.

am playing on dads 25 dollars

11 million for pena gone for all these games sux

ok so it is pretty realistic

I still think that the team with the best regular season record should play the team with the worst record tho,to give them a better chance to make the world series or the final or whatever its called

I think your idea is not a bad one. In fact it is a good idea, if that is the way people would prefer to play.

Injuries suck, but they are part of the game. To me it means you have to enhance the way you look at your bench, and role players. And that too me, adds more strategy. I love using every single player at some point during the season, even if it happens due to injury. Because that is the real essence of team sports.
