SOMDraft FIXED!!! - PLEASE READ

Postby GREGGZILIANI » Thu Feb 19, 2009 12:47 pm

All,

I have been pulling my hair out trying to fix this damned proxy issue on the website. I am at the point of last resort. I am going to take a backup of the database and completely recreate a few of the tables. A few side effects of this may be:

1. All drafts currently in progress will be reset.

2. All historical data/drafts may be lost.

Now, I WILL have a backup of the database, so things won't be totally lost but I am at the end of my rope and think this is the only recourse I may have to get the proxies firing again. Please post here if you have a draft currently in progress and you would like me to wait. I will give folks a day or two to check-in before I begin the process.

HOPEFULLY, this will fix the issue. I'm just out of other guesses.

Thanks for your patience.

OK guys from what I can tell all drafts are complete. I will be wiping the database tables later today unless I hear otherwise.

Proxies are firing again!!!!!

OK folks, the proxy issue is fixed. We ran a test and the proxy fired without a hitch. It turns out only one league entry had to be wiped. 70sLeague4. The rest of the table I was able to leave intact. Anyway, feel free to create and run all the leagues you want. I have no idea how a bad entry got in the database, but it caused the whole mess. Problem resolved. Sorry it took so long.
