Inconsistent and unfair

Inconsistent and unfair

I have 3 playoff teams starting on Monday and I am not exactly happy with the way the playoffs are set up.
In all 3 cases, the wild card team does not have the worst record, they either have the second or third best record out of the playoff teams.
In my 80's mystery card league, I won the East, but have the worst record among the playoff teams (95-67), so I'm playing the winner of the Central, the #2 seed (105-57). That leaves the West winner (107-55) to play the wild card winner from the Central (96-66). Ok that's just as I expected.
in my 70's mystery card league, I won the East with the best record in the league (98-64), the wild card team came from my division and has the second best record in the league (94-68). I am playing the wild card team in round 1, leaving the winners of the Central (86-76) and West (83-79) to play each other.
OK fine, I figured on that as well, I've played a team from my division in round 1 before.
Now on to my ATG league.
I won the West with the third best record among playoff teams (87-75). The Winner of the Central has the best record (100-62) and the Wild card comes from the Central with the second best record in the league (93-69). Now the eastern division winner snuck into the playoffs with a whopping 73-89 record. So I was licking my chops at an opportunity to have a crack at the 73 win team in round 1 (Which I'm sure I would have lost anyway, but that's not the point). I mean after all, the best record DOES play the wild card winner regardless of division or record. My 70's league has me playing the wild card team in the same division, first and second best records in the league. My 80's team has the best record playing the wild card team a well even tough they are not the team with the worst record.
Well you could imagine my surprise when I notice that in ATG I am in fact playing the wild card team in the first round, that's the 93 win team.
Why does the #1 seed get to play the lesser team in that league, but not in the 2 others.
I don't mean to sound sour, but I am. I think that is totally unfair. Why are there different rules for playoff seeding in each game? I know the mystery card games are not as popular, and I know they don't get the attention that the newer, more popular games get, but is it asking to much to make the rules consistent through all the games?
Losing or winning any of these playoff series is not a factor here, the issue is fairness and consistency, which is non existent, not just to me, but to the other teams who are not playing the proper opponent in the first round. I don't mind forcing the #1 seed to play the wild card team regardless of division or record, just be consistent in all leagues. Consistency makes for fairness and this is not a fair situation.

I don't think that it is the way it has always been. I believe ATG just made that improvement recently. TSN caters to ATG because it's the biggest game so they got improved first.

I have no problem with the rules being that way. I'm just asking for consistency throughout ALL the leagues.
Is it that hard to change the rules for the mystery card games, and any other seasons that don't have the updated rule change as well?
Why am I playing the wild card team in my 70's league? They are from my division.
Lack of consistency is my complaint.
