The team was built around the starting pitching staff, in RFK (2007). Had a huge run down the stretch just to make the playoffs, gaining 10 games or so on the division leader. Kept the momentum in the semis, but then lost in 5 games in the finals. Finals games were close, though.
One of my favourite teams every - more fun than the one team that did win the championship!
