Yes, I'd put my best RP/RP's in the setup role and leave the closer blank.

what is the advantage of leaving the closer role blank vs putting an rp non C in the spot? :?

It leaves it open, supposedly, so anybody can come in.

If you have a good R2, there's a good chance HAL could leave him in there for the save.
