Good, but not good enough?

I am 2 games back of the wildcard and have no shot at the division on the last night of play. With 91 wins so far and the 3rd best record in the league you would think I would be in the playoffs, but not in this division. This is pretty frustrating to have such a good team that won't get a shot at the championship. I am up against 2 great teams and would need to sweep tonight to get the wildcard. I am 10-11 against the wildcard leader so things aren't looking good...

It's too bad you haven't gotten more out of Berkman...in a platoon that's a huge disappointment. Your vs L platooners (the $.72 pair) have been disappointing as well.

It's hard to find holes on the team...sometimes it's just a bad divisional draw. Good luck tonight!

I'd say Markakis is a pretty major disappointment as well, for the $6+ mil you spent. That and besides Howard, you didn't have anyone reach 20 HRs. I don't know much about today's players but I'm surprised that McCutchen is second with 16 dingers. But yeah, Figgins, Scutaro, and Cabrera all seem like they cost you a lot and you didn't get a lot of offense from 'em. I do wish you the best! I've been in that situation before, I hope your team comes through for you!

This whole game is a mystery to me sometime. How the HELL did you get 16 wins and 3.04/1.22 out of John Maine? and Sherrill 50 saves? He's a 7L !! I know you're in a LH hitters ballpark, but this doesn't explain it to me.

Some days, I think I don't know this game at all.

91 wins and you may well not make the WC?
