1st time with 2009 league. I'm in Anaheim Stadium. Mostly a singles division. Phillips, Polanco, and Hendricks are available. Do any of these guys fit any better for my ballpark?
Thanks

Hey Aaron 44, Of those three, I would go with Polanco or Kendrick. Phillips has a lot of ballpark HRs. Though I have played many Cleveland Indians replays with the 2009 cards I do not know them as well as many others. But I know enough to steer clear of Phillips in a singles park. If you post your team, others will help you. The best of luck to you, because no matter how much you know, luck always helps (in Strato and in real life..).

Sorry, sometimes I can be long winded. For a short quick answer, I would go with Polanco, unless someone who knows better says different.... He seems like a good bargain the more I look at him. Good luck...

well, if there is at least 25% of lefty starting pitchers in your division, I would have a preferrence for Phillips.

And you could really improve his card if you could put a base stealer in front of him vs rhp. This way, you could avoid some of his awful 30 gbA to turn into dp, and you will maximize the chance to bet on his good clutch.

You could also play him to use more hit-and-run when he faces right-handed pitchers, to avoid the double-play and improve his overall performance (nice B hit-and-run). Kendrick and Polanco also has a B hit-and-run, but because their cards are better vs rhp than vs lhp, and because they don't have as much gbA, you're wasting more potential by using the hit-and-run.

Vs lhp, Phillips has a head over the two others.

I'd go after Freddy Sanchez

i'm in a league where polanco is batting .312 in att after 40 games. had him in kauffman on a champ team. he hit .290 but only a .330 obp. very few errors though. polanco to the rescue! 8-)
