[quote:4bd1a7ccea="Valen"]I cannot believe the disgruntled posts in this thread. Are you serious?
There was a glitch that resulted in some people losing their starting pitcher and going all bullpen. Anything other than replaying the games would have been wrong.
So what if you lost a few wins. Is that really how you want to win? You call up your neighbors and brag about how you beat someone's bullpen when they got victimized by a software glitch?
If I need that kind of advantage to win I would rather lose. Show some pride and sportsmanship.[/quote:4bd1a7ccea]
Here is the funny part of this.
If the error had been seen immediately, before any customer had read a box score, and the games rerun, immediately, and posted. No one would have been the wiser. Instead of having lost games you won, you would have lost games, or won games.
I had a league where I went from a 3 game sweep (me over opponent) with two of my pitchers getting yanked immediately, to a 1-2 (with the pitcher who wasn't yanked early in the first set keeping his win).
I was annoyed.
I got over it.
Because really, that's random chance, and it was only fair to my opponent that he face my Glavine and Appier than the bullpen of Eck, Nelson, Lyle, Sambito, some Erskine Mayer, and some $.50 Niekro.
Now, if I could set it up with strategy settings to let Appier pitch until he had a PA, then pinch for him, and go to the pen, I'd set it like that. Hell, I'd build a team around that concept. But, I digress.
If you question the replays, you are questioning the integrity of the random roll machine. The ball bounced the other way, which happens.
Life goes on.
