Mauer in Petco?

Is he worth it? :shock: I built my team around speed and defense with Ryan Howard thrown in for some pop. Pitching staff is relatively cheap (22million) I also have Mauer but there are some really nice pitchers on waivers (Lincecum, Haren, Johnson) and I have the #1 pick.

My two choices are: I downgrade Mauer and upgrade my pitching or stick with Mauer and Howard as a nice hitting duo? Have any of you had some real success with Mauer in Petco? Can I find better value?

I'm just not sure the 13million wouldn't better be spent elsewhere.

Any thoughts, ideas, opinions :idea:

Combine the defense, OBP AND SLG, I would def. keep him. What are the other parks in your division?

i say keep them. but then again i have a team starting tomorrow under the exact circumstances.

Here is Mauer in Petco. I got lucky in that he only missed 3 games. This team won the championship.
