Playoffs and Rest Days

I am on the verge of taking a 2009 team to the playoffs and I have a few questions.

1. Are there two rest days between the end of the regular season and the start of the playoffs?

2. Is the first round of the playoffs for the 2009 set a 5 games series or a 7 game series?

3. How many rest days are there between the end of the playoffs and the start of the championship round, assuming that the first round requires the full amount of games (5 or 7 games) to resolve.
