Give it up for Paul Maholm!

I just won my first non-mystery card game championship, in large part, due to the efforts of Paul Maholm. I used him as a left handed spot starter. Here are the numbers he complied during the 2009 regular season:

W - L IP H ER BB SO ERA WHIP

13-3 158.2 155 57 48 105 3.23 1.28

In the post-season, he was on fire.

And all for the amazing low price of .79 mil.

As an aside, I decided to follow the wisdom of some of the vets on this board. I put a lot of time into making my draft list and stuck with my team throughout the season, not dropping a single player. There were about three times druing the season when I was tempted to make a move but decided to ride it out. Boy, am I glad I did. My team finshed the season with a 93-69 record.
