Weird Relief -- Help Me Understand This

I had a situation happen and I need someone to explain it to me, please!

Daniel Hudson is pitching, top of the 5th, 0 out, nobody on. Up to that point he has given up 4 hits, 1 bb, 1 run. His PCF is F9 and is a S7.

Dave Ross hits a double. HAL pulls Hudson for Darren O'Day. Hudson's PCF is still F9. O'Day is set as my setup pitcher, there are NO extra checkboxes set for him, nor for Hudson. Team Relief Usage is set to Normal.

Why would HAL do this? Fortunately I went on to win game (but Hudson didn't get credit). I just don't get it and wondering if anyone has a logical explanation.
