US Cell team starts tomorrow

This team strts tomorrow and I have $3.8 mill left to spend to improve. Or I can hold ome of the money and see who other teams drop. This is a 5/10/20 percent drop league. I usually spend more on RPs than SPs. I could replave Marshall with Kuo who is sill avilable to use as my middle reliever.

Offensively, I am trying to decide on back-ups. I currentl have Gordon to platoon with Moreland but am also considering dropping him and adding Rosales and Boesch.

In my league there is a Fenway, Wrigley and Citizen's Bank parks. There are 5 LHSPs and 5 LHRPs on those teams.

Appreciate any thoughts on how best to spend the $3.8 mill to improve the team before tomorrow night.

I think you are in for a world of hurt with this team. If you are not seeing a ton of LHSP than you will not be hitting many HR's with this team. HamRam will hit some for you but with his defense he might just give most of it back. Wright has a great card against LHSP but also won't help much with his glove.
When you have a bad defense at a hitters park you give up chances that will cost you. Moreland has a good card but can go down for up to 15 games.
This teams dosen't look like it has the power to keep up in your park with the iron gloves in the field. Sorry I hope I am wrong but I don't feel like this team can win 70 games. You do have Average and OBP but really not much power here.

I would look for a RH power hitter if there are any.

Playing in US Cellular without considerablely more power hitting will make it difficult to win. Your starting rotation will get rocked as currently constituted.

I agree with the prior post (and he knows much more than I do about this game) - as currently set, 90-95 losses is your probable finish.

Improve your starters and get more balanced power-hitting.

Looks a little light wrt power v RHPs

v. RHP: any better options to start or platoon at C and CF
v. LHP: any better options to start or platoon at C and 1B

5 R1's - are there any R2s available instead af Marshall?

6 starters, 4 SP*, 3 $1-2M starters? I would think the money could be better spent on upgrading starters 1, 2, 3 or 4 .

Looks like you are holding your own in this league. Your relief staff is doing very good with little to none blown saves. Only 1 run in the run differental. All of your settings look good. The only thing I see that might help you is that you seem to have too many baserunners caught stealing to those that steal the base.

All in all you are being very competitive in your league. Nice job and keep up the great work on managing your team. I give you an A+ and have checked your results almost every night.

You are well on your way in this game to being a big time winner so far!

I have one team that lost in the Finals but all 5 of my US Cell teams are above 500. I usually use the stong bull[pen model and it keeps me competitive. T

This team I am fielding this tie has a little more spend on SPs. And I have several more platoons than usual to take advantage of available players.

We will see if the money spent on Cain versus L Hernandez translates into more wins.
