Last night I had a player out on a double play due to appeal

Never seen that before. I think the runner was on second and not third as well but I can't remember 100%. How often does that happen on the game. I am a fan of the board game and I have got to be honest that I wasn't even aware this outcome was possible on the board game. Must be a detail for very advanced players that I don't use.

Given that a F2 is rolled, the chance of a rare play is 2.77%. The chance of the F2 itself depends on how good a fielder the OF is (see [url=http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v496/berniehou/SOM%20charts/ofrangeerrors.jpg]here[/url] for that), but it's generally a common result.
