Varitek closed out the year with 44 HRS and 100 RBIs for a little more than a 1.8M. :) It was a fun season. Thanks.

I have had Varitek post a couple of similar and many not so similar. Your post reminded me of a post I made a few years ago noting the decline of the 400 HR teams and putting together a team specifically geared to that end. Managed to bash 449 bombs with this squad.

Besides the decline in PEDS, this was the last year Coors was a true bashfest, before they did whatever they did the last few years. I found a team of mine the next year that hit 373, but no 400's to be found. Not sure that even with Coors returning to its former bashing glory that you could hit 400 now, even with a perfect draft in the perfect league(not counting the All Coors themes, of course). Would like to see anyone that gets close to 400 and I'll keep trying, as it's a good excuse not to spend any money on pitchers.
