When a switch hitter is at bat and the roll goes to the pitcher, which side does of the pitchers card does it go to? I always assumed it would be the opposite if the pitchers hand, but I noticed in some cases that works against the card and it would be be better to bat the same side. Does it automatically play the weakest side? Can someone please clarify this for me? Thanks

I think it would automatically be the opposite of the pitchers hand.. Im not sure though
