Wow. This team is certainly quite an overachiever. Check out the trio of Outman, Vasquez, and Albers! Three pitchers that COMBINED cost 1.57 million, and ate up 250+ innings and went 23-9 with an ERA about even with the team ERA. Usually if I try to sneak in a single pitcher for 1.57 million they go 6-12 with a 6+ ERA. :)
You also played at a total HR park, and got outhomered by your opponents by 50 dingers, yet still won 92.
This team went very much away from conventional wisdom in many ways, yet was successful over the long haul, and won a championship.
