Want a laff?

I've been sitting with 14+ million, on my team since the season started, currently my boys are doing not bad for ( cheap owner payroll of 66 -million. so lets look at this for moment. tean link is

http://fantasygames.sportingnews.com/baseball/stratomatic/2006/team/team_other.html?user_id=2546

now the real funny part of this team, the boys that are suppose to hit are not, and the girls on this team are hitting the ball off its cover. also my pitching is Rank 3rd (era) and hitting is 4th. now the questions is, should i spend more money ?:) oh other parks in my division is Citizen's Bank Park , minute maid, and coors, mine is ( my favourite safeco). any suggestion s would be consider. current record is 6-6 2nd place 2 games back.

Two questions/thoughts:

a) what's the biggest bat available as FA?
b) if the offense seems to do well enough over time, I don't see what harm could be caused by adding one super stud reliever to the exusting group.

The starters may do just fine in that park. Safeco is a unique situation for pitchers, and as I've said before, I don't see why more people don't use Safeco.

Bleacher, that is the problem, there is alot good bats, however, like i said before i am "cheap" dont want to spend the cash yet, i am just waiting for others to do the FA drop and add thingy :)

At,
I have reason why i am going with 6 starters, i need matchups plus i am waiting and hoping somone will drop a gem, so i could snare it away :)

I said to a buddy of mine, that happens to be in the same league, if this team could get out of the first week being close to 500 or better, then i think it has decent shot of doing some sort of damage, then i could evalated the team again ( slipts home and road records, etc) and see what i could used to improve it, hopefully some other owners will lose some patiences wilth some of their studs, so i could snare them away.

I wouldn't hold my breath and wait for an owner to drop a superstud in the first week or so. The longer you wait to spend your cash the more it hurts your team.

I would suggest dropping Menkievitch (I'm sure I butchered his name) and Eckstein and get the best hitting 1B and 2 SS you can find. Other than that I like your team a lot! 1B is the biggest hole on your team. If you do nothing else you have to improve there.

Having a lower team salary, and doing well, is like the Royals beating the Red Sox in a 3 game series. Over the course of the season the Red Sox will easily have the best record. You have to improve your "Royals" and make them into White Sox. Then they can legitimately compete with every other team.
