Championship credits

Are all 2005 (2004 season) credits being given as 2006 credits? I won a championship on March 19th but currently have no credits for the 2005 game. I was under the assumption that one cerdit would be automatically transferred, thereby leaving one in 2005 and one in 2006 but never seem to have received the 2005 credit.

I also received the following e-mail on March 17th:

Please note: Effective today, all 200X winners (2001, 2002, 2003, and 2005) will be given a credit for the new 2006 game!!!!

Was anyone else under the impression from this e-mail that we were to receive a free credit for the 2006 game, if you had won a previous championhip? Did anyone receive a free credit for '06?

This happened a lot to me last year as I got hot with my last few teams from 2003 and was rewarded with several credits in 2005. Same thing is happening this year and I, for one, LOVE it. I only bought two five-packs of 2005 teams and only once came close to running out of credits!

Yes.

I was recently runnerup in the 2005 game (thanks for the help JdEarly) and received the same e-mail but couldn't find the 2006 credit. Your post got me to clicking around some more and I finally found it. Here is what I did:

Go to the 2006 game frontpage. If you click on the yellow "Get 1 Team" button it just takes you to the page where you need to pay. Scroll down to the bottom of the frontpage and just above the sample Strato card it says "Sign up now for 24.95". That is what will take you to the "Create Your Team" page. Maybe it works the same for your 2005 credit.
