Little MM help needed

Postby BRADSANDBOTHE » Thu Feb 01, 2007 3:42 pm

This is my last foray for '06 (unless I end up some xtra credits)

I decided to take a second shot at MM.

I am not a big fan of R/L slanted parks, but what the heck.

My team is a mess (hitting)

Waivers tomorrow

Teams in Division are Petco, Cell, and Safeco.

There are 2 other MM teams besides mine, 2 Yankee, 2 Ameriquest, Jacobs and Rogers.

Geekor,

If you are out there, pitch in here a bit if you can.

My divison favors both hitting and pitching as well as Lefties and Righties.

Obviously I will drop Holliday, but is B.Roberts gonna strap me for cash,if I try for him, so much that I can't rebuild my team.

Does Taveras work in CF at MM

3B, SS, 1B, and 2b are all needed.

F. Sanchez is there, Jeter is there, Casey is there (all favor lefties though)

I am not sold on Greene either, Abreau is there too.

Abreu is a very good fit in MM...lots of hits vs RHP that are not BP dependent...

(Coors, Comerica & your Angels team)

Abreu & Jeter would be decnt pickups. Taveras doesn't have enough power to be useful.

Makes a nice leadoff guy as well Bodie.

Guillen is staying or going? You need Jeter.

Your park (for righties) and the Cell are hitters parks. Safeco favors lefties and Petco is...well Petco. Nada, Zilch etc...

You have Shelton as your lone big bat @ home Bodie. You need 2 or 3 big bats that will reap the benefits of MM.

I see Miggy Cabrera or Ensberg @ 3B for you. Randy Winn should hit alot of 2B's for you.

Tavares should be ok in CF. He'll save you money to use elsewhere. I'd go for Abreu in RF, Tavares in CF and Winn in LF. Cabrera @ 3B, Jeter @ SS.

Think righty power guys, and lefty/switchy mild power OB guys.

Guys,

Question here,

I can pick up Cabrera if I drop Holliday, but then I will be short on SP until next pick, will this go through or will it pass over me because I won't have the correct number of SP for a moment???

As of now I can't drop him until after waivers start.

Is Shelton a good fit here??? I have never used him before

bodie, you cant drop halladay for cabrera, it wont let you. you must have 5 sp's at all times. Try to trade halladay for more $$ somewhere, anywhere. Or see if you can find someone who has 6 sp's, and trade someone for 1 of them so you can drop halladay.

I traded Halladay for S. Downs and dropped Michaels in CF

I have 14+ M avail now and pick 3rd on Waivers, so that problem is solved.

Webb wasn't on my Radar, but he is now.

Geekor, I PM'd you about this,

Say for example I pick A-rod 1st and he is gone, does it work that my next choice would be my 1st??

My Choices
1. A-Rod
2. Cabrera
3 Abreau

So if I pick 3rd, I would still get Abreau if Miggy and A-rod are gone ????

I just never really paid much attention to it before

I guess I should say, I haven't had to completely rebuild a batting order before.

Usually one or 2 guys were needed at most, not 6-7

I try to be creative, or I just have too much time on my hands.
