BPHR question

Postby ironwill1 » Tue Mar 10, 2009 8:39 pm

Both go to the HR rating for the park. If the hitter is W for power it becomes a single if the HR is hit.

If you aren't playing the advanced game, one is a HR and the other is a FLY (LF)B. This option is available with the dice game, not TSN.

Hope it helps.

i played quite a few teams before i realized the #flyball could be a homer. totally changed the way i evaluated players. prime example is joe d. he's a 3L hitter but has 6 hr chance against rhps all in the 1 column with 4 of them being either #hr/fb. he's been a terror against rhps in parks favoring rhbs.

This isn't quite true. Only HRs off of the pitcher's card (either BP or regular) turn into SINGLE** if the hitter is W. If it's on the hitter's card, it still counts as an HR.

That being said, I don't think you'll see a W with a BPHR on his card for the W side.

One thing to note, the most BPHRs you'll see for a hitter (or pitcher) is 8 on a side.

Which league are you talking about? Usually It's a fairly long list especially for ATG.

You can get this info from the ratings disk or (warning, shameless plug) from my ratings spreadsheet.
