At all times your roster must be comprised exclusively of players from your assigned team/team grouping + any supplemental players (if assigned). You may not autodraft any players on your exclusion list.

[b:6502edcccb][u:6502edcccb]The Concept[/u:6502edcccb][/b:6502edcccb]
I like the concept of franchise teams using the 2010 set but there is no way to create 12 competitive teams. I also like the regional leagues, but you end up with 2 team groupings and it breaks up the continuity of the league concept. So I thought I would merge the 2 concepts and create a league comprised of 6 pure franchise and 6 regional team groupings. To make the league more competitive, the 6 pure franchises get a chance to draft supplemental players in the autodraft. These supplemental players either actually played for, or are currently playing for the team they are an assigned supplemental player for.

The franchise teams do not have to draft the supplemental players. So for the autodraft the Rangers can draft Adrian Gonalez, the West 2 team cannot draft him. After the autodraft, if Adrian Gonzalez is in the free agent pool, he is fair game for the West 2 team to pick up. You are free to do as many add/drops as you want for players from your assigned team/team grouping during the season. So the Rangers can add/drop any players carded to the Rangers in addition to the supplemental players. If you have West 2 - you can auto draft any players from (Col, A's, LAD and SD) EXCEPT for the players listed on the exclusion list. You can add/drop any players from those 4 teams after the autodraft runs.

YOU MAY NOT DRAFT PLAYERS from other teams and team groupings not assigned to you at anytime. For example, Bobby Abreu did play for the Yankees at one time. He is on the Phillies supplemental list. If the Phillies autodraft him, they get him. If the Phillies do not autodraft him, he is a free agent and the West 1 team can take him because he is carded to the Angels..(or the Phillies can pick him up later) The Yankees CANNOT draft him under any circumstances, even if he is available. Another example, Adrian Gonzalez cannot play for the Red Sox ect.. This restriction to only the identified supplemental players and team associations should help keep the league competitive.

Team 4 NL East (Fla, NYM, Wash, ATL) -minus the following EXCLUDED players: J. Santana, H. Ramirez, T. Saito, D. Lowe, B. Wagner, I Rod, P. Feliciano, A. Dunn

CENTRAL

Team 5 Twins + Supplemental Players: Torii Hunter, Johann Santana, Carlos Silva, J. Bartlett, Matt Garza

Team 6 Reds + Supplemental Players: Ryan Dempster, Adam Dunn, Ryan Franklin, Matt Belisle

Team 7 Chicago/South (TB, Chicago White Sox, HOU, cubs) - minus the following excluded players: C. Silva, Matt Garza, J. Bartlett, C. Crawford, B Myers, J Happ, J. Benoit, R. Dempster

Team 8 old AL East (Det, milw, tor, balt) - no exclusions

WEST

I'd be fine with a $100M league, too. The talent should be spread out enough for this. I'm good sticking at $80M, too.
