AT, playing Devils Advocate here,

what if, I draft and use Arod. Let's say I also draft 6 * sp's. I would then have to site my top pitcher, I could just thorw my top pitcher out the window and still play Arod, basically working with a lower cap?

Just wondering that's all (I love loopholes :P)

Well since the penalty is 9 games for every day the illegal player is on your roster, by the 19th day (Game 57) Mark you'd have to bench your top & 2nd most expensive SP, because at that point the penalty would have surpassed a full season for your #1 SP and by the 37th day (Game 111) you'd have to bench your top 3 SP.

Besides everyone else in the league would know that said owner had cheated and would probably get blackballed from future theme leagues. ;)

You can NOT own any hitter over $3.20M. Basically, the penalty you're referring to won't apply, therefore no loophole.

AT was simply copying & pasting rules from another theme league and changing words where necessary.
