It's cheaper if you spend $100 and get 5 credits! :D

plus, this isn't a fantasy site. They have to simulate the games. Even if they didn't use computers but used well-trained monkeys to roll the dice, the monkeys gotta eat. And one of the monkeys would have to post the results.

You absolutely get what you pay for.

If it's economical (or just plain charitable) to make it free--go ahead and do it bronx and tell us how it goes!

Free Leagues

Postby KENNETHSMALLWOOD » Fri Sep 01, 2006 10:20 pm

Plenty of Free Leagues in the Public Sectors and they are supported on the Strats website (league Listing).

I love TSN and they have all my coins but my heart is with the Free Leagues.... Nothing better than to draft and keep the same team from year to year.

If anyone needs a public league, drop me a message and I will see if I can find one for you....

gobronx, there are less costly games you could try-- whatifsports SIM for one thing-- but from what I have seen, there is no comparison. Strat is the creme de la creme of the online games. In that sense, I suppose you really do get what you pay for.

P.S. - Stay out of McDonalds. Strat is carb-free and a much healthier meal than a Big Mac.

P.P.S. - ehkelev, where the heck do you live that it's possible to get a "pretty nice meal" for $25??!! I have my GPS powered up and ready to find that town! 8)

up here in the Great White North it costs a bit more than $25. Depending on the exchange rate of the day it could be $29-$30 per team. I still find the coin to play because well, heck what else can you do up here. Set your GPS to Nova Scotia where I can have a seafood platter (haddock, clams, shrimp, lobster roll, and fries) for under $15! And the plate is overflowing. In Five Islands it's a dinky little town, but everything is fresh catch and plentyfull.

I'm on my way.

Here in Los Angeles, $15 would probably buy you a day-old lobster tail.
