Giving the game up - has become boring

I have to agree with Jerlins, the most fun I have now is in building the team. Once that's done, the day to day opertaion doesn't keep me as entertained, thus I start more teams and end up having less interest in each individual team. It's a vicious cycle.

Well I am new here just started my 1st two teams. I played in face to face league from 81 thru 95 then my kids got old enough i did not have time to commit to it. I hope this will give me my strat fix, but not sure. There is something about holding the cards rolling the dice, and having you opp right across from you. Lots of emotion, don't think this will be the same but i am looking forward ot it.

If you are bored with it--Theme leagues is the way to go...All kinds of wild rules to keep it interesting......Also agree with above statement.....The board game is better IMO-but alot more time consuming......The thing that makes the board game better to me.....I can make decisions that HAL is incapable of making..ie; lets say my ss is injured and my BU ss is my DH.......HAL will put in just about anyone instead of having the sense to take your BU--move him to SS and install another DH....Now I know someone will say-If you're gonna use your ss as a DH you should have another one....BS--Shouldn't have to do that..Don't know much about computers but man, this situation needs to be fixed.....Also, on the board game I have contol of the pitching staff and can delete those nutty moves HAL makes with the pen......Don't get me wrong---I love strat online but there are some factors that you just cannot replicate online vs board strat :D
