I have returned!

Postby HUDAMAN » Tue Sep 12, 2006 12:24 pm

I'm going to try a couple of autoleagues just to get my feet wet again, so I'm not completely humilated and shamed! After all that time away from the cards, and lacking a ratings disk, it was pretty ugly getting that first team started. As soon as I get the disk, I'm going to do two or three teams in different stadiums to get going again. Give me a week or two, and I'll be willing to dive in the deep end again!

Thanks everyone. I've been so busy I didn't realize how much I missed playing. I guess there isn't much 2002 action anymore! I've got a couple of credits, maybe I can transfer them. I look forward to competing with everyone.

JKolak, myself and a couple others still play 2001 & 2002. Those leagues do get filled but they take a while. Definitely most of the action is with 2006 and even there leagues can take a couple of days to fill with all the different options available now - dh/no dh waivers/frenzy 80/100/200 caps ... lots of kewl new features as well. :)

Welcome back lee!

Doubt you remember me, but you were in my first ever TSN SOM league back in 2001. I just remember you offered me some words of advice/encouragement back then. Don't really remember exactly what you told me, but at the time it meant a lot to this rookie to have a vet help me out.

Never had a chance to tell you thanks for that. Looking forward to competing in a league with you again :D

Its great to see you back leehaak, our martial arts expert from the state of Minnesota! IMO you were one of those few founding fathers of SOM when first started back in 2002 with that good old, still being played 2001 game. You were always there to help any "newbie in need". In fact, we are in the same 2006 league together although in different divisions in the TSN_3882 league. Its good to see one of the pioneering gentlemen of the game back to the boards. Hope everything went well for you and your family over these couple of years.
