Why are there no Strat-O-Matic prizes?

You 2 guys frickin' crack me up...

There are 2 leagues that I really enjoy playing in...the Voyage series with mtarbell, splinter, akindian, Frank M etc...and any league that you guys are in.

Of course Mr. Bodie is awful quiet in the 70's league that we are in together...but he does have one of the best team names (Match Games 75's)

btw- If we would have been in elementary school together, I would have "taken" your milk money...BOTH of you!!!

Visick,

I don't like my 70's teams so I try to ignore them.

I have been sticking with my 06 teams and hopefully I will get one more title before the 07 game kicks off.

I figured I should stick with what brung me, and the ATG and 70's teams haven't been very good to me.

I would have just given you my milk money if you asked......you don't have to be so mean about it, plus my dad's bigger than your dad.

Kevin and Bodie...

After the new game comes out, we're gonna run a league called "Flirtin' with Disaster". I was in this with splinter and Frank with the 2005 cards (2004 season).

Basically it's 80 million, 5/10/20 FA's, advanced but with 1 catch...

You are allowed only 2 players with 600 AB's or more. Hence you are flirtin' with disaster.

We'll probably run this league about 1 month in with the new cards. We've got 5-6 guys already and I'm wondering if you guys would be interested in something like this?

Okay...I'll get in on this one...

you could have evoked the name of the either Harry Scherer( 1 season 1 AB for the 89 Louisville squad...1889) or Ray Shearer(1 season 2 AB's for 57 Braves)

in a bit of a stretch maybe you could have used Bub Black "Sheep" of the Family or even Dave "Lamb" Stewart.

Thats all I've got.

Because of SoCal's wackiness, Puckins's dad is bigger than our dads, and Splinter's clever wordplay about sheep, I am in for the new league!!! :D Just add me to the list of owners for that league and let me know when it's starting!

BTW, unlike these on-line leagues, I kicked some sheep butts back in the old days in strato! It must be the fact that you guys have opposable thumbs, brains bigger than a walnut, and when I threaten to shear you guys and make into tonight's dinner, you guys don't let me win!!

Nice try...but we are talking sheep here not goats...a huge biological difference...so don't step in any Owen"Sheep" Scheetz (Washington 43 6 gms 2 ab's) on the way out.

Now for the "I have way too much time on my hands" offerings

We could have mentioned "Ewe"ll Blackwell of the Reds in the 40's/50's

Jeff "Wether"by of the 89 Braves (wether is a castrated male sheep)

and for the littlest and least need to be know fact....Don Drysdale( a Drysdale is a sheep bred for carpet wool)
