Draft order rip off!

Then play the system to your advantage. Place the wanted players at the top, then the players everyone wants (mostly low priced) that you don't necessarily want at the bottom. Players such as Posednik, Ausmus, Robinson, Blanco are always placed near the bottom of teams I draft, never get any of them, and in the last 8 drafts I've run, have never had a waiver pick less than third. It doesn't solve the problem of not getting the guys you want, but does ease the pain a bit.

I have seen on a few leagues, teams getting 4 studs, dont understand how that could happen either. anyways i doubt very much TSN will make a weighted system, makes to much sence to have one. :)

I've found it easier to build a team with leftover hitters as opposed to leftover pitchers. Take a look at how many acceptable shortstops there are at waivers. Only two positions I've found lacking before waivers are 2nd and 3rd base. Any other position I'm able to find adequate players. So you don't get Manny or Abreau, big deal, they can't field anyways.

Guess thats why I never list RJ or Barry Bonds first..... law of averages goes against me.

On the bright side, Glendon Rusch is no slouch this season. He might not post strikeout totals that make you drool, but he's been effective (or better) for me several times. I would consider him a bargain, thank my lucky stars that I got him instead of Jamie Moyer, and use that $8 million savings to pick up an entire bullpen or a monster bat like David Ortiz. But that's just me.

I still dont like a system where I put the top pitcher down as a choice and get a very low choice, while others get 3 or 4 pitchers better than him...
