[quote:942cd2a9f5="jeffdoh"]say i have tom haller catching and blanchard playing rf. haller gets hurt. if i have no other catchers, HAL will presumably move blanchard to C and stick someone else into RF. is blanchard unbreakable until haller returns?[/quote:942cd2a9f5]

If you have Blanchard [i:942cd2a9f5]in your line-up[/i:942cd2a9f5], I believe HAL will then put a position player at catcher for the remainder of the game, usually your utility infielder. This is no great shakes as you will not see the game go crazy from runners stealing on the sub. Often the scoring line will reveal nothing remarkable at all, other than the fact that, say Mark Bellhorn, caught a few innings. During this time, Blanchard is [i:942cd2a9f5]not[/i:942cd2a9f5] unbreakable and is [i:942cd2a9f5]still subject to an injury roll[/i:942cd2a9f5].

Now for the [i:942cd2a9f5]next game[/i:942cd2a9f5], I believe HAL will then move him to catcher (I can't remember if he is in the lineup at DH if HAL will move him or leave him as DH). Regardless, as long as Blanchard is on your default lineup card, he [b:942cd2a9f5]can[/b:942cd2a9f5] be injured and is [b:942cd2a9f5]not[/b:942cd2a9f5] unbreakable.

As I said before, I think you must have your second catcher unlisted in both the default lineup and the manager strategy for him to be unbreakable as the backup. Remember though, that these are such rare events that by the time you realize what happened it hardly even matters to you anymore.
