I want to give this a try. I've been playing strat games for a few years and I have 8 teams with the '07 cards. However, I have never been in one of these themed leagues before, so I might have some questions along the way, but hopefully I can pick it up early.

Also, I'm Canadian so I don't have a home lotto state, but I'm right by the Michigan/Ontario border so I guess you could give me Michigan.

So if you're open to a first timer then I'd love to have a spot.

Glad to have you money---Good group of guys---You'll have a blast guaranteed. We'll keep you posted as we go along. Once the league is full, we'll use the lotto # for that nite to determine order of draft. At that time I'll post position in the draft and what division you're in. Then just wait until your pick comes up and pick your franchise...

Sorry Larry. Arizona will work. I lived there 3 years ago. 8) I used to always have Idaho as my lotto state and got routinely 10th pick or worse. I'm not sure if my new home in Minnesota has the pick 3.....but I will check it out.

With my first pick, I will take the Meridian Mets. Do I have right theme league? :? The Meridian Mets is my 12 year old's team that just won the AA championship in a grueling tournament. My son had a lofty .750 OBP. I wonder how much his card would be worth?
